Factory audit check is a combination of factory inspection and production capacity verification. All the certificates of origin and/or licences of a manufacturer will be verified with respect to your company requirements. In addition, a production check will be conducted to verify the factory's production capacity and highlight key areas for improvement.
Factory audit checks will be conducted by our specialists empowered by your company to enter the premises of manufacturers /subcontractors /exporters and any other parties involved in the manufacture and export of the goods and to conduct checks at any reasonable time. A factory check has to be agreed first by the parties involved.
Failure to comply with any of the factory audit requirements or failure to render all necessary assistance and cooperation to our specialists in conducting the factory audit check will be notified to the parties concerned.
Fatory social audit
Usually based on the SA8000 regulations.
The standards of “Social Accountability Standard 8000” (SA 8000) are an instrument of promotion and control of working conditions. They are based on the conventions of the International Labour Office (the ILO), the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Universal Declaration of the Rights of Children.
They aim to prohibit child labour and forced labour, and guarantee conditions of hygiene and safety, the right of association, and prohibit any discrimination based on race, sex, religion and proscribe all corporal punishment, limit the weekly working time to 48 hours, limit overtime work and compensate overtime worked.
